Held on campus last Saturday, the six-hour event brought together students, organizations, and supporters for an energetic and meaningful experience. Participants danced, played games, and engaged in themed activities designed to keep spirits high while raising awareness and funds for patients at Riley Children’s Hospital.

Marathon attendees contributed through online donations and a special art auction featuring paintings created by Riley patients. The auction drew enthusiastic participation, with several pieces receiving competitive bids and highlighting the powerful connection between the campus community and the children they support.

In addition to fundraising, the event created space for connection and reflection – offering a reminder of the resilience and strength of the children and families served by Riley. Activities encouraged participation from all attendees, reinforcing a sense of community and shared purpose.

By the end of the event, State Dance Marathon raised an impressive $35,122.88 to benefit Riley Children’s Foundation. The total reflects the continued commitment of Indiana State University students to making a difference through service, compassion, and collective action.

Those who were unable to attend still have an opportunity to contribute. Donations can be made online to support ongoing care, research, and resources for Riley patients and their families.
