Indiana State University has announced the Winter 2025 recipients of the Hines Memorial Medal, one of the institution’s most prestigious academic distinctions. The award honors students who began their studies at Indiana State as first-time, full-time freshmen and are graduating with the highest cumulative GPA in their class.

Named for Linnaeus Hines, the university’s fourth president (1921–1933), the Hines Memorial Medal reflects Indiana State’s proud tradition of celebrating exceptional academic achievement and the dedication of students who exemplify the university’s highest standards.
The recipients of the 2025 Winter Commencement Hines Memorial Medal are:

• Taylor Paige Hamilton, Elementary Education major, Fishers, IN
• Emma J. Harvey, Architectural Engineering Technology major, Bolingbrook, IL
• Suzanne L. Head, Intelligence Analysis (Counterintelligence) major, Mooresville, IN
• Reagan Linn Kelly, Kinesiology major, Newburgh, IN
• Bryce L. Maxwell, Operations and Supply Chain Management major, Terre Haute, IN
• Alyssa N. Streur, Psychology major, Greencastle, IN
