Indiana State University will celebrate its Winter 2025 Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, December 13, at the Hulman Center, honoring the academic achievements and perseverance of thousands of graduating Sycamores.

The day will feature two separate ceremonies:

  • Graduate Ceremony: 10:00-11:30 a.m.
  • Undergraduate Ceremony: 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Family members, friends, and the campus community are invited to join in recognizing the accomplishments of Indiana State’s newest graduates. The ceremonies will highlight student achievements, university traditions, and remarks from campus leadership.

A total of 410 Sycamore undergraduate students from Indiana and 27 other States will walk the stage to receive their diplomas. At the graduate level, 209 students from Indiana and 21 other States will receive their master’s and doctorate degrees during Saturday’s ceremony. In addition, eight international graduate students from various countries, along with one international undergraduate student from Australia, will also receive their degrees on Saturday.

“Commencement is one of the most meaningful days of the year for our university,” said Indiana State University President Mike Godard. “It’s a moment to celebrate not only our students’ hard work and determination, but also the support of families, faculty, and staff who guided them along the way. Our graduates leave Indiana State prepared to make a difference in their communities and in their professions.”
