Indiana State University Announces $20 Million Raised in Fiscal Year 2025

Indiana State University’s Division of University Advancement announced a total fundraising amount of $20,102,253 for fiscal year 2025. This successful year of philanthropy concludes the University’s Be So BOLD campaign and makes for the fifth consecutive year that Indiana State has raised more than $20 million. 

Indiana State Alumna and Faculty Member Establishes Endowed Scholarship for Business Students

Indiana State University alumna and faculty member Jennifer Mullen has pledged $30,000 to create an endowed scholarship for students in the Scott College of Business who have received limited financial support but remain committed to pursuing degree completion. 

Jennifer Mullen has earned two degrees from Indiana State, a bachelor’s degree in management information systems in 2001 and a master’s degree in communication in 2011. After graduating, Mullen worked in sales management before returning to the University to work in Admissions. 

Indiana State University Celebrates Historic Success of the Be So BOLD Campaign

Indiana State University is proudly celebrating the exceptional success of its Be So BOLD campaign, the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the history of the institution. The campaign originally launched with the goal of raising $100 million by June 30, 2025, but soared beyond expectations to raise a record-breaking amount of $133 million in support of student scholarships, experiential learning, faculty excellence, and Sycamore Athletics.

Indiana State University is getting ready for its seventh annual Give to Blue Day on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. On this day, the campus community, alumni, and supporters will come together to raise funds for Indiana State students and programs.

Events will take place across campus to encourage participation and philanthropy. Local businesses are also joining the effort by hosting special promotions and donating a portion of their proceeds to Indiana State. Many of these businesses are owned by proud Sycamore alumni, including:

Indiana State University Included in Givzey’s Version2 Third Cohort, Revolutionizing Fundraising Forever with Fully Autonomous Fundraising

Version2, Givzey’s AI R&D lab researching, developing, and accelerating the deployment of the world’s first fully autonomous fundraiser, announced the third cohort of nonprofit Innovation Partners to introduce the Virtual Engagement Officer (VEO) to donors. Indiana State University is the first university in Indiana to partner with Givzey and is among 12 other organizations in its cohort.

Indiana State University Announces 2024 Philanthropy Award Honorees

Indiana State University has announced the 2024 Philanthropy Award recipients. Awards recognized will include the March On! Award, the John P. Newton Spirit of Indiana State University Award, and the Student Philanthropy Award. The award recipients will be honored at the fourth annual President’s Dinner on Friday, November 15.
