Indiana State University is accepting applications for a new Master of Social Work program, with classes scheduled to begin this fall. The 60-credit hour program will offer concentrations in health or mental health and addictions.
The concert, which will run from 7-11 p.m. at Wolf Field, will feature area bands and artists including Sirens, Zakk Huff, Dangerous Doug and the Grassers, The Dank Tones, No Great Loss, Papa J Otis and Not So Hipster.
The conference will feature ensembles from from around the state as well as two international clinicians, Jerry Tachoir and Joe McCarthy.
The African Student Union at Indiana State will host the event, which will be at 6 p.m. in the University Hall Theatre and will feature stories, songs, food and dances. The theme for African Global Night is Sankofa, which means going back to your roots.
The Indian Student Association will host the event at Wolf Field from 4 to 7 p.m. People will be doused in color as part of the celebration. Attendees are encouraged to wear white clothing that they do not mind being stained permanently.
