On Friday, Indiana Governor Eric J. Holcomb announced the appointment of three new members to the Indiana State University Board of Trustees. The appointments are:

  • Rob Carter (Brazil), vice president of public affairs at Taft, who will serve until June 30, 2027
  • Lori Danielson (Terre Haute), president of GoTime Coaching, LLC, who will serve until June 30, 2028
  • Jon Ford (Terre Haute), president of Reliable Energy, Inc., who will serve until June 30, 2028

President Mike Godard shared, “I look forward to welcoming our new Trustees, Rob Carter, Lori Danielson, and Jon Ford, to Indiana State University. As the new president of Indiana State University, I am eager to collaborate with these dedicated local leaders and the entire Board of Trustees. Together, we will continue to advance the mission of Indiana State University and enhance workforce development in the Wabash Valley and throughout Indiana.”  

Indiana State’s newest Board of Trustees members will begin their terms on July 1, 2024. The appointments replace Trustees Kathleen Cabello, who was appointed to the Indiana Commission for Higher Education; Randall Minas, who served 16 years on the Board of Trustees; and Robert Lowe, who recently finished a term.
