Indiana State University has continued its partnership with Crawford & Company® to incorporate its Knowledge Management Center claims online training modules into the university’s insurance courses.

Indiana State University has continued its partnership with Crawford & Company® (NYSE: CRD-A and CRD-B) to incorporate its Knowledge Management Center claims online training modules into the university's insurance courses. Crawford & Company is the world's largest, publicly listed independent provider of claims management and outsourcing solutions to carriers, brokers, and corporates.

The partnership gives ISU's insurance students access to nearly 40 online professional-level courses in adjuster safety, auto, casualty, ethics, fraud, liability, property, risk management, soft skills, transportation, and workers compensation. The training includes material reviews throughout each module and a final assessment.

"The Knowledge Management Center claims training platform offers a unique experiential learning opportunity for students studying insurance and risk management," said Rebecca Wray, Networks Financial Institute and Gongaware Center director. The Center is part of ISU's Scott College of Business.

"The modules provide hands-on experience and allow students to be exposed to multiple areas of the claims process via the innovative virtual platform. We appreciate our continued partnership with Crawford & Company and look forward to implementing the platform in our courses again this year."

Since 2017, Indiana State University has been collaborating with Crawford & Company for access to its innovative online learning system. The training modules provide an exceptional learning opportunity for students reinforcing what they learn in the classroom.

The Center was established with a $5 million gift from Donald and Patricia Gongaware for the purpose of developing future leaders in the insurance and financial services industry. Since its inception, part of the Gongaware Center's mission has included recruiting top high school students into the program and helping them build the technical, operational and leadership skills necessary to succeed in the industry and in the communities in which they live.
