Indiana State University has awarded the University Honors Scholarship to 24 outstanding students who begin their studies this fall.
The students chosen for these competitive scholarships demonstrated high levels of academic achievement throughout high school and during an on-campus interview process. To apply for the scholarship, students were required to have at least two of the following: a cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.75 on a 4.0 scale, a score of 1270 on the SAT or 26 on the ACT and rank within the top 10 percent of their high school class.
The scholarship provides full in-state tuition for four years. Recipients of the University Honors Scholarship are:
Aubree Cole of Greenfield, Ind., graduated from Greenfield Central High School and plans to pursue a major in speech-language pathology.
Aubrey Lankford of Washington, Ind., graduated from Washington High School and plans to major in athletic training.
Brooke Embry of Decatur, Ill., graduated from Eisenhower High School and plans to major in health sciences.
Benjamin McCoy of Edwards, Ill., graduated from home schooling and plans to major in business administration.
Caitlin Clear of Fishers, Ind., graduated from Options Charter School and plans to major in human resource development.
Caroline Elliott of Jeffersonville, Ind., graduated from Jeffersonville High School and plans to major in physical education exercise science.
Elizabeth Beeman of Poland, Ind., graduated from Owen Valley High School and will major in mathematics teaching.
Emily Shininger of Greenfield, Ind., graduated from Greenfield Central High School and plans to major in communication.
Hannah Ketchum of Springfield, Ill., graduated from Sacred Heart-Griffin High School and plans to major in psychology.
Jennifer Runge of Crothersville, Ind., graduated from Brownstown Central High School and plans to major in mathematics teaching.
Katherine Auer of Mattoon, Ill., graduated from Mattoon Senior High School and plans to major in baccalaureate nursing.
Kailey Bean of Peoria Heights, Ill., graduated from Peoria Heights High School and plans to major in English.
Laura Juelfs of Red Bud, Ill., graduated from Red Bud Community High School and plans to major in psychology.
Liahona Lukens of Greenfield, Ind., graduated from Greenfield Central High School and plans to major in health sciences.
Maggie Booe of Linton, Ind., graduated from Linton-Stockton High School and plans to major in engineering.
Michelle Chew of Noblesville, Ind., graduated from Indiana Academy for Science and plans to major in accounting.
Mia Cvengros of Rosedale, Ind., graduated from South Vermillion High School and plans to major in English.
Mallory Wilson of Yorktown, Ind., graduated from Yorktown High School and plans to major in biology.
Ryan Knezevich of Downers Grove, Ill., graduated from Downers Grove North High School and plans to major in accounting.

Stephanie Dehne of Spring Grove, Ill., graduated from Richmond-Burton High School and plans to major in finance.
Shelby Herrera of Bloomington, Ill., graduated from Normal Community High School and plans to major in nursing.
