Rosemary Knapp, an associate professor of zoology at the University of Oklahoma, will speak at 4 p.m. in room 12 of the Science Building. Knapp will speak about the evolution of behavior in bluegill fish in a seminar titled, "Behavioral Endocrinology of Alternative Reproductive Tactics in Bluegill: Correlated Characters in Physiological and Evolutionary Time." Knapp's research has an ultimate aim of increasing understanding of how behavior evolves.

Knapp earned her bachelors in biology from Cook College, Rutgers University in 1984 and went on to get her masters in zoology at the University of Madison-Wisconsin. In 1996, Knapp received her Ph.D. in zoology from Arizona State University.
