Indiana State Alumna and Faculty Member Establishes Endowed Scholarship for Business Students

Indiana State University alumna and faculty member Jennifer Mullen has pledged $30,000 to create an endowed scholarship for students in the Scott College of Business who have received limited financial support but remain committed to pursuing degree completion. 

Jennifer Mullen has earned two degrees from Indiana State, a bachelor’s degree in management information systems in 2001 and a master’s degree in communication in 2011. After graduating, Mullen worked in sales management before returning to the University to work in Admissions. 

Indiana State University Announces 2024 Philanthropy Award Honorees

Indiana State University has announced the 2024 Philanthropy Award recipients. Awards recognized will include the March On! Award, the John P. Newton Spirit of Indiana State University Award, and the Student Philanthropy Award. The award recipients will be honored at the fourth annual President’s Dinner on Friday, November 15.

Indiana State University’s Division of University Advancement has announced its 2020 philanthropy honorees. The March On! Award is the most prestigious award presented by University Advancement and honors transformational philanthropy to Indiana State.

In a ceremony entitled "You Can Do Magic," Thomas and Deborah Bareford of Carmel, William J. Brett of Terre Haute, and the Indiana State University Federal Credit Union, were honored for their dedication and vision to enhance the growth and success of Indiana State University.
